The bounty of earth medicine

Garlic is a proven natural antibiotic, and unlike the manmade substances like “penicillin” the body does not resist to garlic. This means that it is unlikely that Garlic will stop treating infections and we will never become immune to garlic. The more aged the garlic the more potent it is, and the more it protects the body from disease and infections.

Garlic its self does have side effects if used excessive raw garlic can be strong too much can cause stomach irritation and headaches. If you are allergic to garlic you can develop a skin rash, and a temperature.

Folk lore puts this super herb on a major pedestal and has been known as a “Wonder Drug” as it was used during the plague. Garlic has been used to treat the common cold and even used to help manage cholesterol.

I use a tonic for skin infections and as an antibacterial wash. Here is my mixture that I use.

½ cup of warm water

3 garlic cloves

1 teaspoon of vodka

Take fresh cloves and peel them and rinse with water. Peirce the cloves with a sharp knife several times being careful not to cut the clove all the way through. Place cloves in jar add water and vodka. Cover tightly with lid and let sit overnight place jar I frig and it will keep for about 7 to 10 days. This mixture will smell strong but that is ok it is normal.

Do you have any garlic remedies’ ? Post your comments below I would love to hear from you !
